The number of platforms on which yoga instructors, personal trainers, and other types of online coaches may launch their classes is staggering. They can choose between platforms specializing in specific verticals (PTs) or more generic platforms.

This sector is being targeted by a new UK player who intends to make inroads into it by offering a “one-stop shop” for live online trainers. This is probably a bit optimistic.

Coaches of all kinds may use LiveHive to help their clients succeed online – from yoga instructors to professionals who provide specialized skills, personal trainers to influencers, and lifestyle experts. In other words, it is attempting to be all things to all coaches, whether they are full-time, part-time, or earning money on the side.

The business-to-business platform includes a browser-based video studio, integrated payments, and payouts, automated recordings, integrated social media, as well as SMS and email alerts for customers and partners.

“Looking at the UK’s burgeoning knowledge economy, it was evident that offering live online coaching as a company was too technically hard, time demanding, and confusing,” said Dave Nicholson, co-founder, and CEO of LiveHive. “LiveHive simplifies, simplifies, and makes more effective the whole process for everyone involved.”

LifeHive has relied on its resources and is preparing to raise a seed round.

It will, of course, be competing against some larger and better-funded competitors, such as Moxie and Kuula.tv.
