The 11-member State Board of Training is California’s Okay-12 policy-making body for academic requirements, curriculum, educational supplies, assessments and accountability. Notices can even be posted outside the State Board of Education Meeting Room on the primary floor at 1535 West Jefferson Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85007, which is open to the public between eight a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday by way of Friday besides legal holidays.
The Negotiations Committee, chaired by Board President Rick Hanley works with the Superintendent, director of human assets, enterprise administrator, and the varsity district’s attorneys to achieve equitable contracts with the two labor unions represented in the district.
